In my constant effort to reduce our electric bill I bought a timer for our extra freezer and refrigerator. So far, it's worked well. These two appliances shut off at midnight, and come back on at 6 AM. No one is opening them during that time, and they stay plenty cold. This way, every 4 days they have been off for an entire day. That should add up to some savings.
Curious about the cost of this.
