I had cut the fabric for Autumn's skirt out the previous week, but I had her sew it up yesterday.
I cut mine out of fabric that I bought at the end of the season last summer. I stitched the entire thing in about an hour last night.
We both had new outfits for church today!
Love the wrap skirts! I need to make some for the girls! Did you use a pattern or just wing it? Love your choice of fabrics too.

Patricia,
ReplyDeleteI use the formula from the Sew What Skirts book for these. It's very simple.
The skirts are lovely, thank you for sharing. I looked at the Sew What! Skirts book before, but now I am definitely going to get it. Thanks

Aren't those just the most fun little skirts to make! I am working on a half circle skirt tonight for my mother who is coming down to visit tomorrow. Oh my goodness, a bit more complicated than the wrap let me tell ya! I also am tackling some stretchy, soft material that keeps sliding this way and that...I might be done by tomorrow. *laugh!*
ReplyDeleteYours are so pretty!
