What a Man !!!

Question of the day? What's for supper? Tonight was Cabbage, Bacon, and Noodles. Yummy!!!
A three ingredient meal that is VERY tasty, and quick to make.

Cabbage, Bacon, and Noodles
1 pound bacon
2 heads cabbage, chopped in large pieces
16 0z. noodles.

Fry bacon until crisp. Set aside and crumble, but do not drain the skillet.
Cook cabbage in bacon drippings, until tender. In the meantime, cook
the noodles. When the noodles are done, drain them well. Toss the
cabbage, bacon, and noodles together. Serve with a good bread,
and enjoy!

Since I was busy
checking school,
Verne jumped
in and started
cooking!

First, he fried
the bacon.

Next, he
cooked the
cabbage, and
the noodles.

Then, he
tossed it
all together.

Mmmmm.

That looks very yummy! Gordon is the king of breakfasts on saturdays around here. He makes a mean fried pork tenderloin sandwich!
We're pretty blessed ladies, indeed!

That looks good, I will have to try it. What a sweet man to cook dinner for you guys. My Daddy used to cook for us, he sometimes would make fried biscuits that his Dad made when they went camping, those are good!

I just realized that both our hubbies cooked last night. My Knight makes our pasta sauce and it's sooo good. I cannot duplicate it. We actually had soup & cornbread last night (which the Princess made) but he made the sauce for Thursday's supper...giving it time to gel. The Princess and I couldn't wait so we enjoyed itty bitty bowls of it early. :O)

Hello again. Your supper looks yummy!
I may have to copy that recipe too. I'm always looking for something new.

My husband is actually quite the cook too.

I agree with Karen we are blessed with wonderful husbands.

Thanks for the recipe - it looks really appealing.

I do need to change my menu - and this looks a step in the right direction.
