Endearing Paper Boats

I was reading a post by Kelli, and was enchanted with the adorable paper boats that they sailed during a picnic. I asked her for a tutorial on how to make them. She quickly responded to my request. How sweet of her! Upon my telling my husband how kind Kelli had been, he informed me that he knew how to make these already. I've been married to this man for nearly 18 years, and had never known he possessed this talent. He proceeded to show me his skill, but told me a story that went along with it, making the paper boats even more fun!

I fell in love all over again with this wonderful man of mine! Sometimes it's the little things that endear someone to us. As he showed the children this morning, they too were delighted to find something new about their father.

Oh my goodness! How cool was that!?! What a neat post, Tracy. It's so cool how our husband's can do the smallest, or most unexpected things and we remember why we first fell for them, and how much we love them:)

I thought that the sailboats were so sweet and it made me a little sad and wish that my dear sweet son and daughter were younger again so we could sail sailboats together!

Oh wow, I had forgotten that story! I used to do that when I was in jr hi. I will have to get a piece of paper and see if I can remember exactly how! What a neat thing to learn something new about your hubby, too!

Yes I like your new template too. Loved watching the end of the boat story on the video and also the slides of your son's life. Always fun to have a peep into others lives. Guess that's part of why we like to blog.
