Show and Tell Friday

It's time for another game of show and tell. Head on over to Kelli's to participate.

Verne is an only child, but his mother always desired to have more children. My mother in law has always treated me as her own little girl. She can sew something for me, and it fits perfectly every time. She rejoices in finding me just the right gifts. This past Christmas I was delighted to receive a platter, serving bowl and mug. I LOVE the colors, and the patterns on them.

Not only are the pieces functional
and lovely to look at, but they bear
my name on the bottom as well!

I display the bowl on top of the armoire in the dining room. It holds the napkin rings that Autumn made .

I think it sounds like your mother-in-law is one of your treasures! : ) I love your dishes, and they would look so good in my eat-in room when I finally finish sewing the curtains and painting the walls!

Tracy I did page back and find your teapots. That is neat! It does look like the same pattern to the plate and cup and saucer that I have.

Absolutely beautiful. They would, by the way, go PERFECTLY in my home. I have a wall in my family room that same red, and my curtains are amazingly similar. I will HAVE to show you a picture sometime. What a nice MIL.
