It's done!

I finished my rug. It's for sale, as it doesn't go in my house. NOW I need to make one that will!

Tracy, your rug is great! Very creative!

I just returned from a blogging break and was incredibly blessed by your “A lovely Life” post a few days ago. Especially your comment, “Have I ever mentioned how much I enjoy my children? Homeschooling is a big commitment, to be sure. I am often asked about spending so much time with my children. "Don't you need a break?" "I would go crazy if I were with my children all of the time." That's not at all how I feel. In fact, I really enjoy all of the time that we have with one another."

You have no idea how many times I have heard women in line at various stores saying, “Oh I’m so glad my kids are back in school! Etc, etc.” It’s a breath of fresh air to hear from a godly mother who honestly LOVES being around her children.

My mom has told me that she was sad when school started each fall(my brother and I went to a small Christian school) as she wanted to spend time with us 24/7. My parents always made us feel like they cherished time with us, that they wanted us around, and that they, like you, enjoyed their children. Oh what an impact that “feeling” and knowing has made on my life.

Your children are very blessed Tracy!

Very lovely! I think I'm going to make one too, when time allows. My room looks like it could do with a nice rug!

Hi Tracy!

Are there online instructions for these rugs? I don't crochet, so I need to be in the beginners class. I'd really like to make some this winter in our down time.
