Wins and Losses

It was a full weekend here. Saturday morning, Verne and Mac ran a local 6k race. I was proud of my two guys, as Mac's time was 22:39, and Verne's was 25:07.

Mac finished 3rd in his age group, which covers young men who are 13-18 years old. Verne finished 2nd in his age group. He was thankful that he hadn't turned 40 yet, as he would have come in 3rd there. It was fun cheering them on.

Sunday evening we had a finger food supper in the living room while watched our beloved Steelers. Too bad they didn't play as good as the food tasted!

Lil smokies wrapped in crescent rolls, shrimp cocktail, and crab dip.

Way to go to your guys! I don't think I could run these days.

That finger food looks delish - all of my favorites, especially the shrimp.
