Inspired by Anna, Yet Altogether Different.

Recently, Anna made aprons using thrifted linen dresses. "How clever!", I thought. Not wanting to be a total copycat, I ditched her tutorial, and went my own way. Anna's aprons seem to be for someone tall and very slender. I'm neither, so I made mine more to suit my taste and style.

I prefer a half apron that wraps around me, covering my sides as well as my front. Cooking and gardening can get messy, you know? And mine are hand-embroidered, too! The same, but different! You can find two in my Etsy Shoppe now. Thanks for the inspiration, Anna!

Nice, and look simple enough to make, too!

Very cute ~ I like aprons that wrap around the sides, too. Otherwise, I will have flour up and down the side of my skirt where I tend to pat my hands when I'm baking!

Very nice!!! I have a few linen towels and for some reason decided to use them the other day. I was pleasantly surprise to discover how absorbent they were. I actaully had never used them, because I thought they would repel water. Silly me:)
