A Few Links for You

Earlier this week, my uncle and his wife were here for dinner. They stopped on their way home from vacation to visit with Grandma. Grandma requested meatloaf for supper, and I made Mrs. Wilt's Tomato Soup Cake for dessert. I know it sounds strange, but everyone liked it. If you don't like raisins, leave them out and use nuts instead.

I printed out the recipe for Emily's Lemon Drizzle Cake and laid it on the kitchen counter. I guess Collin got weary while waiting for me to bake it. He took it upon himself to do it this morning. Emily lives in England, so the recipe is metric. Here are the conversions for your ease:

225 grams = 8 ounces
85 grams = 3 ounces

180 C = 350 F

If you're doing all of that baking, you might need an apron. There's a nice tutorial by Abby, here.
