Autumn woke early this morning and began her day in the kitchen putting supper in the crockpot, and making picnic buns. Then she sat down to the rest of her studies.

THOSE ROLLS! Oh my word. They look so good. I have this roll recipe that I've made a few times, but I'm not crazy about it. I'm gonna try these. Maybe this afternoon!
I'd love to be in your breadmaking class! :)
The rolls look so yummy I'll have to try to make them too!

The rolls look wonderful. I am printing the recipe as I type. How many rolls does it make? I would like to make these for a church dinner.
Hope you are having a wonderful day

Carrie,
If you make these dinner roll size, you'll get more. They're actually buns, so we get between 18 and 24 per recipe depending on how big we make them. Enjoy!
The rolls look so delicious!
And I recognized 'Home Comforts' by Cheryl Mendlson is that what Autumn is using for Home Ec?
Yum! It looks like she made an A in Breadmaking! ;o)
Michele,
Autumn is reading Home Comforts. She's done many things to study Home Economics. As far as an actual curriculum, I loved Christian Light Education's Home Economics. She did that several years ago. After she completed that, we've studied nutrition and cooking, and concentrated on sewing, knitting, crocheting, rug making, laundry, etc. As this is her final year of high school, she's reading Home Comforts as a wrap up while continuing to hone her skills around the house.
Wow, those look yummy!
I have to chuckle because your daughter has more drive than me! I can start the meal, but never get around to any thing else...maybe it's the 3 little ones in the house!?!
The rolls look delicious :o)
Trust everyone will have a great supper together! BTW - what did she make in the crockpot?
Blessings to all :o)
oh lovely...I think we'll bake some bread today as well!
Oh yum, those buns look nice! I will have to try them sometime soon. =) It will be perfect to try all of these recipes now that it is getting colder, it will be the perfect type activites to do with the littles. =)
The rolls look delicious. What a wonderful daughter you raised, Tracy. You must be really proud of her!
The link for what Autumn cooked in the crockpot is now in the post. Of course, she tripled it for our large family.
Hope you all have a wonderful time!
