Late Bloomers

Though the temperatures are falling into the 40's most nights now,
my rose bushes are hanging on, giving a last blaze of color.

They're still very fragrant, and as beautiful as they have been all summer.

And my Endless Summer hydrangea is living up to its name!

My late roses were eaten by the deer. I was not paying enough attention to spray the flowers, so they had a wonderful lunch buffet! Yours are lovely!

What beautiful colours! I love roses... they are my favourite!

Deer in the front yard!?! I couldn't imagine such a beautiful sight, lol, although I am sure that would be annoying when they eat your flowers. We don't have deer in suburbia (I think only in zoos) in Oz, but plenty of kangaroos in some places... not to mention the odd crocodile boldly roaming around (we live in tropical north Queensland).

They are gorgeous! It's been down in the low 50s at night here lately which is a really nice change.

I still have some roses in bloom too! We have been having pretty chilly overnight weather, so I don't know how much longer they will last but this rose is still producing buds!
