After Dinner Walk

Each time I drive up the road toward our home I'm greeted by a rainbow of color. There are four huge maples that stand tall against the sky in all their glory. I wanted to capture their beauty before the sun went down.

Abigail accompanied me, and we sang hymns all the way. I'm not sure the neighbors appreciated it, but we made a joyful noise anyway. ;0)

We saw some beautiful pampas grass, too.

The neighbors that own the home with the beautiful trees were out taking pictures, as well. We chatted for a few minutes and then went on our way once more.

And just for us, God drew the day to a breathtaking close.

That's so beautiful, Tracy. Most of the leaves are off the trees here. Enjoy the scenery!

How beautiful! We don't see much autumn color around here. Most of the trees are either ever-green, or lose their foliage in less impressive ways.

We don't have such colors down here, so I showed your gorgeous pictures to one of my pre-k classes. 4-5-year old kids can be very contemplative, they were all oh's and ah's.
