Happy Valentine's Day

Verne started celebrating early by bringing be a bouquet of flowers on Thursday. And a chair. A new chair for my desk. It surprised me. I'd been out for the evening, and when I returned home, and entered our room to get ready for bed, there it sat. How thoughtful!

We're heading out mid-afternoon to share a meal together, just Verne and I. We were going to take Jon and Autumn along, but alas, he's out of the state for work. Instead, she'll fix a supper for the rest of the crew. I'm making Strawberry Pretzel Salad per Abigail's request. She loves the festive color, and it does sure taste good!

Whatever you're doing today, I hope that you remember Him who loves you more than all others ever could. May the Lord bless you!

Happy Valentine's Day to you, too! It sounds like your is already lovely.

Thank you for your sweet comment on my blog. Yes, someone did indeed say that to me. Someone also compared the death of my husband to their divorce. People say dumb things some times. I just chalk it up to the fact that maybe they just don't know what to say? I don't know. I'd rather just be quiet.

Happy Valentine's Day to you, too! I hope that it was everything you'd hoped for.
(and mine was very nice - my husband brought me flowers and flowers for each of the kids AND he made supper!)

I'm glad you had a fun Valentine's Day! I was glad it was on a Saturday this year :)

Oh and my mom-in-law gave me her strawberry pretzel dessert recipe. We use raspberries instead of strawberries....it's one of my favorite treats!
