Decisions, Decisions

I think he made a good one. Mac graduates this year, and along with that comes the decision of where to go to college. Being at the top of his class he had many choices. Many scholarship offers. It was a tough decision. A private school with a total enrollment of 1200. A privilege just to be accepted, let alone receive a scholarship. He almost took that road. Almost.

But sometimes, the Lord leads our hearts to unexpected places. We've been on the road several times in the past few weeks. Mac was accepted to the Honors College at WKU, and was given a hefty scholarship, but was also invited to compete for a full ride. Compete he did, and two weeks ago, we learned that he got it. Tuition. Room and board. Books. Once again, we hit the road, and he registered for classes yesterday.

Why does it seem like he just went to kindergarten yesterday?

Oh my this *is* something to celebrate!!! Congratulations to Mac for this amazing and wonderful honor of such a scholarship and acceptance, Tracy. Wow!

Time flies, doesn't it? You and your husband have raised a fine young man who will live to make you even more proud than you currently are..if that is possible. :o)

Congratulations to Mac! What an accomplishment. I know you must be SO proud, Tracy!

Please keep reminding me to enjoy them while they're little. It seems like yesterday Jack was born - and here he is, about ready for kindergarten. Oh, the time. Where does it go?

Congratulations to Mac. How incredible for him, and for you! He must work very hard and be very dedicated, and it's wonderful to see him able to reap the benefits of all that dedication.

That's really awesome news Mac!! Congratulations!

Tracy, I know it's going to be an unusual year for you-and no, you're not the only one who feels that your young adult children were just starting kindergarten a few years ago. :-)
We are preparing to graduate our second homeschool graduate and that will leave us with just two in school this next year. I'm almost afraid to blink-the years just fly now. On top of that, our grandson turned a year old yesterday----now that's a surreal feeling. :-D

Congratulations! Great news! Reading about this season of your life, even though it seems light ages away for us, makes me think about how quickly time flies.
