Never Stop Learning

One the the most valuable things I have tried to teach my children is to never stop learning. Life isn't about graduations so much as it is reading and doing.

Want to learn a new skill? Read about it and give it a whirl. If you don't succeed, try again. There is nothing more satisfying than reading about something and accomplishing it yourself.

This is exactly how I have learned to quilt and stitch. It looked appealing so I had a go. And I love it!

Thanks so much Tracy, for allowing me the privilege of continuing to journey with you.

Oh, you look like you're canning. Love the black and white photo!

I agree with your sentiment by the way . . . learning never stops!

I couldn't agree more. I love seeing the boys being little sponges - always wanting to learn as little ones. I hope they continue that passion for learning!

I am in the process of trying to teach myself to cook--definitely a new task for me, sad to say. The other day I tried fried chicken and biscuits for the first time and they didn't turn out the way I would have liked. I was so disappointed! Thanks for posting your post today--it gave me the encouragement I needed to try again!
