Make Supper; Stock your Cupboards
Nothing could be easier than creamed chipped beef over biscuits. Or toast. And the best part?
The glass jars that the dried beef comes in are perfect little glasses with charming stars around the rims!

As a child I remember having this for supper, cept it was on toast and 'cept it had a slang name thanks to my military father. ahem.
I loved this dish as a child and I'm sure I'd love it as an adult so why oh why haven't I made it?!

sooo cute...we use mason jars for ice tea and such..but these would be great...
My Mom always used Jelly jars as drinking glasses. We gave them away when we closed her home a few years ago and now we all wished we saved them.

I love anything cream on toast, tuna, ham and chipped beef. Yum!

I like those jars! Cute! We use mason jars for drinks here as they hold up to alot of use and abuse with the kids!
I also like the creamed beef, especially on home fries. Don't eat it often though.
I like to use Mason jars for glasses, especially with lemonade in the summer. So cute!

We have this dish once in a while and my mom puts shredded cheddar cheese in the gravy to melt, though we don't do this at our house. I keep the jars too. :)
I haven't had this in years. My mom made it once in a while when I was young but I've never made it for my family. Hmm...
As a result, I don't usually look at the dried beef. What brand do you use?
Karen,
Armour is the only brand that is carried in our area.
