LOL--this reminds me of something I read not long ago...
That heaven as an eternal banquet, must have been thought up by a man. Because you can imagine a woman discussing all of the various "needs"...yes, a bunch of Marthas...
"So, Lord, whose going to be doing the cooking? I see...and the cleaning?...okay...now, what about..."
Men just come in, sit down, and eat. Women, we ponder menus, and food prep, and cleaning/decorating for our guests.
(Having just had to cancel a New Years Eve party, I know that all too well!).
On another note, we LOOOVE gyros here. My DH makes a mean tzatziki...one of these days, we want to raise some lamb, just so we can braise our own, and eat them like we did in the Greek restaraunts in Germany (where we both got addicted to real Greek food--not gyro stand gyros...reallllllly Greek food)...
Oh my. Now you've got me hankering after some Greek food, and it is after 930 at night...lol
Maybe I can plan that for dinner one night this next week...lol
And, btw, congratulations, on inspiring your children. It is obvious that they know a good thing when they taste it...and they obviously love you very much.

How cute is that? It's so nice to cook for an appreciative audience isn't it? :)
