A King Arthur Giveaway!

February 19th marked 3 years of blogging for me, and to celebrate I'm teaming up with the wonderful folks at King Arthur Flour for a giveaway. I'm so excited for each of you who have a chance to win!

As you all know, I love to cook, and especially to bake. Several months ago I checked the King Arthur Flour Baker's Companion out of the library, and started trying recipes. Everything I've tried so far has been very good. I was thrilled when the King Arthur folks told me that they would help me by donating not only the Baker's Companion, but also a selection of back issues from The Baking Sheet.

All you have to do to enter to win is leave a comment telling me what your favorite baked good is. It's that easy. Everyone is welcome to enter, even international readers! Please make sure you leave a valid email address or link to a blog so that I may contact you if you are the winner.

I'll leave comments open until Wednesday, March 3rd at 11 PM, Eastern time. The winner will be announced on Thursday, the 4th of March.

Oh Tracy! What a wonderful giveaway - I'd be thrilled to win that!
I've been doing mainly gluten-free baking lately, so nothing is really my favorite, so much. I made a good batch of blueberry-teff muffins this week, so that's what stands out for me right now.

I'd be thrilled to win your give-away as I'm really just getting into baking. My favorite baked good isn't all that exotic-it's brownies. I've never met a brownie that I didn't like! The most wonderful thing about them is that variations are almost unlimited.
Blessings, Laura

French Breakfast Puffs from the Better Homes Cookbook. However, we call them "Sugar Muffins" in our house! Everyone is happy when sugar muffins show up!

There is a no knead yeast bread I learned to make as a girl scout from my best friends mother. It makes a lovely sandwich loaf, but somewhere along the way I started buttering and salting the crust as it baked. It is such wonderful scrumptious, hot out of the oven bread.. and my boys can make it easily when we get a craving for it. If I had to choose, this would probably be the number one fave, although, almost any baked good is a great thing.

My favorite cookies are called "yo-yos". They are like melting moments but contain custard powder instead of plain cornstarch. Even Nathan enjoys them, and he's usually only 'into' choc-chip cookies.

This is going to sound so simple, but I LOVE Chocolate Chip cookies! Baked or unbaked, I can't decide which is my favorite! :)

A batch of gluten free brownies currently sings to me from my pantry.

But really, it is a croissant warmed with raspberry jam that warms my heart as well as my belly. I don't have them very often because they're just so unhealthy, but that is definitely the treat I long for.

Hi Tracy,
I really like an old time food called "Poppy Seed Rolls." They bring back fond memories of my childhood and are along the lines of your Hungarian rolls. These are such a special treat during the Christmas season and take me back to my childhood over and over again.

Your blog has been such a blessing to me over the last few years. You may never know the days I was feeling down or needed encouragement in homemaking, and read one of your posts that gave me that much needed "lift" and encouraging Word to carry me thru my day. Thank you!

My favorite baked good is fresh bread. Any kind. Just as long as it's filled with carbs and it's aroma fills the house :o)
