Easy Ripple Afghan

I'm a little more than half way in a race to finish this afghan for Collin before the hot weather sets in. As I made an afghan for Abigail, and hats, not only for myself, but for many others, Collin quietly sat and watched, waiting his turn. He chose the colors and the pattern, and beams every time I sit to work on it. Let's just say I've had quite a few extra kisses lately, and I don't mind a bit.

You can find the pattern here.

I just had to comment to say-this is my absolute favorite afghan pattern. My grandmother (who taught me to crochet) made blankets using this pattern for each of her 14 grandchildren/great-grandchildren when they were born, and we all still have them/use them regularly. :) Plus it's just a good looking pattern...so it's half sentimental and half the looks for me. :)

Great job so far, btw. :)

Very sweet. It makes it fun to work on when they are so appreciative.

That is a nice pattern and I love the colors! Good choices Collin!

When I first saw the photo of it I thought how comfy it looked! He will enjoy it when Fall rolls around again!

It is beautiful - love the colors and the pattern. It already looks huge. I guess I am surprised you are only around 1/2 way done.

What a sweetie for being so patient. Thanks Collin (I love my hat!!!)

It is beautiful. If we ever get the chance to meet again - think you can give me crochet lessons? ;)

I love this afghan; it has a real masculine look to it. BTW "Kid Kisses" are ALWAYS my best motivator ;D
