Open Windows
It's much more lively when Mac is home, and this week is no exception. He can't stand to not have music playing, or to be playing it himself. He loves guitar, but also enjoys piano and mandolin. And now? The accordion! He bought it just yesterday and can already play it with ease. The only complaint? It smells like a bowling alley.
As the girls and I walked this afternoon, we could hear polka music wafting through our open windows for quite a long way, and had to wonder what our neighbors must think of us.

Hee hee this makes me laugh! I don't know why, I guess it is just that I can tell Mac brings alot of liveliness to your home! What fun!
Who cares what the neighbors think!
What a talented young man Mac is and that's what the neighbours will think when they hear all the different kinds of music emanating from your house :o)
That is so fast to have learned to play the accordion. It makes me think of Sunday lunches when I was growing up. Dad would turn on the Polka music and we would eat, laugh and talk, talk, talk!
Glad you are experiencing so much joy.

My dad can pick up and play just about anything too!
At the moment (self taught): fiddle, banjo, mandolin, dulcimer, recorder, and piano. He also plays but was taught as a child, the guitar, and he played the trumpet in high-school.
I would have smiled hearing accordion music blasting away!
The accordian is such a cool instrument. What a talented young man he is.
Tracy, whatever happened to Jon? I haven't seen anything about him in your recent posts. I hope all is well. You have such a sweet family.

How fun! I've often wished I could just pick up instruments and learn them. I play the piano, but I must confess I'm not always very diligent!
I have been a lurker here for quite some time, and I as well would love an update on Autumn and Jon.
Blessings on your sweet, sweet family!
