Chilly Morning

The furnace has been off for close to two months now, but Collin was quick to light a fire this morning since the house was 62 degrees upon waking. I often find him reading his schoolbooks, feet propped on the hearth, soaking in the warmth. Daisy likes to join him.

There's nothing better than a warm fire ... regardless of the time of year! :)

What a blessing your fireplace is! Worth all the work, I'm thinking.

Neat photo of Collin.

Thank you so much Mrs. K! We're hoping for the 25th of September but it can't be set in stone for a few weeks, for my dad's schedule and family flying in. That's pretty much the soonest it can be in Dubai since everyone leaves in the summer. We're very excited! I hope your family is doing well, and blessed.

The fire looks so nice!
Love,
Cait

Now that looks like something to take up...reading in front of the fire.

We're into autumn here and heading into winter....lots of reading weather and my favourite reading place is in the front room with the fireplace! Should've done that last Saturday when I was completely engrossed in a book for the day.
