Interviewed by Emily

Emily at Unfurling Flower is a single, young woman with a delightful blog. She has been doing a wonderful series on Building Homes for Christ. I've been reading along, and enjoying her wisdom. Imagine my surprise when she contacted me and asked if she may interview me. I was honored to be asked. You can read the interview here.

Tracy! I REALLY enjoyed your interview and answers. You must have a gift for speaking. The way you word your answers, I could honestly imagine listening to you speak at a womans group at Church about home making.
Come to think of it, I think in my own Church, it would be nice to hear someone speak about home making. Because even a lot of Christian woman are feeling pressured to work outside of the home ..ALOT of them.
I thought it was mainly those who werent Christian that would question why I chose to be a full time home maker but no, even Christian women do which surprises me!
Anyways, I love your interview. It was very enjoyable. Thanks for doing it :)

I'm having trouble seeing your interview.... my computer is wacko today!

Thanks for your comment. I appreciate it ~ I've gotten to the point with being overweight that I feel like it's interfereing with my relationship with the Lord. For so long, it's been the thing that I've had the hardest time giving to him. Some may not understand, but it's like I've had a more intense relationship with food, being a compulsive eater, than with the Lord. In this journey to better health, my goal is to give it all to Him and not relying on food for comfort. He's my motivation, my dedication. I know that whether I'm 150 lbs or 450 lbs, I am a child of God and loved more than I can imagine.

Thanks for your support!
~Jenn

Tracy, what a great interview! I so appreciated your boldness and passion to keep your family of “utmost importance” to you. As a young wife and mommy, you are an inspiration and encouragement to me. Praise the Lord for blogging so we could meet!

Thank you again, for teaching us “younger women” to keep our Heavenly Father, our husbands, children, and home top priorities in this world of VERY messed up priorities among women.

Tracy,
Hospitality is certainly taught in the Bible and we are so blessed when we are on the giving and receiving ends of it...

A gracious hostess is a blessing to all. I'm sure you are one of the best...

Thank you for dropping by to visit with me. Please come again...
