Go to paint. Look on the side toolbar. There will be an "A" for text. Click on it. Make a text box. Right click. Click on Text toolbar on the pop up menu. This will be the last item on the menu. Select font style and size.
Go to "colors" on the top toolbar. Select your font color. If you don't like any that are listed, go to custom colors and play around until you find one that you like. Save the custom color!!! Type your name in the text box.
I also selected a color for my background to match the color of my blog. (I couldn't get it exact, but pretty close!) After selecting your background color, use the paint bucket on the side toolbar to color in the background. DO NOT paint your name! Go to File. Click Save as.... Save in my pictures. Upload as you would any photo. That's it!

I've played around with this too - but can't seem to match my background well enough! Yours looks great!
