Mama's Fixins: A Virtual Cookbook!

Something is missing on my sidebar. In fact, a whole pile of somethings. Yep, the recipes are gone. Well, at least from the sidebar. If you look under the categories and click on "In the Kitchen" the recipes are still able to be found on the blog.

I love to cook. The recipes have taken over. I knew that I needed to start a recipe blog a long time ago. Well, I worked on it all this week, and you can now go to Mama's Fixins for your dining pleasure.

I wanted to unveil the new blog this past Friday for Kelli's Show and Tell. But, my DSL internet didn't cooperate and was out for several days. Then I wanted to make a button to link the two blogs. I couldn't figure it out, so I emailed the HTML guru, Leigh Ann for help. This lady really knows what she is doing.

I finally got everything just how I wanted it, so you may visit my virtual cookbook. Just click on the handy button that Leigh Ann configured for me, and you'll be whisked away! Isn't technology grand?

aaaaahhhh...Tracy! Whatever is going on with my blog is weird. I tried looking at the old posts under Foxfire as well...and they don't come up for me. It says its tied to my old blogname. You say you can actually see the entire post on the old ones?

That was such a good idea! I will be adding it to my sidebar.

Tracy, I'm back to let you know you were correct about my old posts. The archives are actually there. It was the "recent posts" link list that was messed up. It took me awhile to figure it all out, but now things are straight and working correctly. Thanks for your help and sorry for my ranting. Your new recipe blog looks wonderful. I will add it to my bloglines so I can keep up with your new posts. I LOVE to try those tried and true recipes of friends. Keep up the good work!! Blessings, Diane

Awesome! All of your great recipes, in a blog of their own. We only cook the very basic things right now (most of our pots and pans are already packed), but I'm looking forward to trying some of them!!

How neat! I just popped over to see it, and will be going back to read more.
I was catching up on your posts and just read the "grumpy" post! What a week you had!! I've been feeling that way a bit myself. It tends to happen when I become overwhelmed. Like now.
This too shall pass.
Good luck with your newest blog!
Blessings,
Karen
