What great helpers you have! :o)
I hope to teach our kids to lend a hand like this - I love to cook with other people and it will serve them well to learn some skills in the kitchen before they "leave the nest". But that is years away! :)
Hope you're feeling better!
P.S. I checked out the link to your dinner - looks yummy! Reminds me of a recipe my mom always made growing up: Hungarian Cabbage. Kind of the same since you fry the bacon then add the shredded cabbage, but then you add a cider vinegar dressing to it. It's soooo good!
I have the same blue and white crock!
Handy kids are a BLESSING.
Aren't kitchen helpers the best??!!
I hope you feel better soon!

My hubs would love it if I had a crock of bacon grease in the kitchen! Seriously, I would score big points!
What a blessing to have older kids that can help when needed!
it's so nice to have little helpers sometimes..especially when we moms are tired or not feeling so chipper.I hope that the headache soon passes and that you are feeling better real soon..and I hope that the b/p problem gets taken care of real soon too. thanks for stopping by my little blog. always nice to have you visit. I hope you have a good week.

Can you send them to my house? ;)
BTW, my mom always had bacon grease in a Camp*bell's can on our stove...a crock is a MUCH nicer way to keep it!
I have so much to learn from you!
I just love your blackened wooden spoon... what character! Hope your headache is better. :o)

BACON GREASE! I don't know anyone that still uses bacon grease. Wow. I remember that when I was growing up.
Your kids are great for stepping in and doing the work. Of course, I guess the advantage is that they get to eat :)
I loved your comment on my post. There is a bible verse somewhere about gray hair and for the life of me I can't remember where. OT someplace.
I think our hair is about the same length too. It looks that way in your picture anyway.
Have a great week Tracy.
Those two-legged helpers are the best! I've got a couple and I wouldn't trade them for the world.
