Love your post. Wish pictures were edible. Your pie looks so yummy. And I like the flowers just because. My hubby is like that too. I don't like the Valentine's day concept where every one is forced to be romantic. A man does not have to always buy a diamond or jewelry to make a woman happy. Just simple and beautiful flowers like Vern brought you just because is my kind of gift. The thought behind it is priceless. And after so many years of being together is even more special.
And Tracy, your pie photo looked so yummy. Hope you remember my request for a post and pictures of the food table and candy/cookie table in Autumn and Jon's reception. Please do a post about it. I really want to see. I am always curious about American weddings. I've only been to 3 or 4 and they were all in hotels and arranged by wedding co-ordinators,. I also watch some wedding programs on TV because I am curious. I have never seen anything where most of the things were hand made or home cooked and turned out so professional. I was really impressed with the pretzels and the strawberry candy and the wedding mints. I really, really want to see the full effect of what you did. I don't know you Tracy, but you've been so generous in sharing your pictures I feel I want to see more. Especially what you made. Sorry Tracy if I come across as demanding and again hope I don't offend you.
Happy Anniversary! I've just discovered your blog and I'm just loving it! What a wonderful testimony of God's faithfulness when you give your marriage to him.
