Abigail Makes a Blanket

This girl of mine, ever thoughtful, took up her crochet hook and yarn and set to work on a blanket for a little friend turning one. She finished the afternoon of the party, with just the right amount of time to present the freshly laundered gift. The baby of our family no longer seems like a baby.

Wow! I wish I could do that! I've been teaching myself how to knit, but so far I haven't made anything :(

That was a lovely thing to do. Abigail is growing into a beautiful young lady with a thoughtful heart.
You should be very pleased with the wonderful job you and Verne are doing. All of your children seem to be very conscientious and hard working.
It's always a pleasure to visit your blog and find out what is new in your home. :-)

It's tough to see our children grow up, and toughest of all to see grow up is the "baby". Sometimes I would like to just stop time. But, what a joy it is to see them growing into caring and giving individuals. Kudos to the "baby" on a job well done.

Handmade gifts are the most special and what pretty colours she has chosen!
