The Delectable Dilemma

Abigail kept quite busy with scraps of wood from our latest project, and a little freshly mixed mud. She designed a logo, and came up with a name. The Delectable Dilemma: Where the food is so good, you have a dilemma deciding what to choose.

Whole wheat bread with a sprinkling of oats on top,

freshly "baked" donuts,

or chocolate truffles with finely ground hazelnuts. What would you choose?

It is a dilemma, isn't it?

Oh, Tracy, this is SO creative!!! The "food" is actually *beautiful*. :) Great job, Abigail!

I'm a sucker for German Chocolate Pie, so I'd have to go with that. It truly IS a dilemma, though!

You had me at the truffles, and it wasn't until I started looking at everything else, that I realized it was all mud!
What fun! One of my best childhood memories is of friends and I playing mud pie bakery. We were filthy, deheaded most of their flowers so we could decorate our cakes, and had an absolute ball!

Now that is taking "mud pies" to the next level! Those are wonderful Abigail!

She has definitely got the family creativity gene....

I'll take the truffles, please. :)

When I first saw the picture this afternoon, I didn't have time to read, and I did believe it was all food. I just thought it was kind of weird that everything you baked/cooked looked so "earthy".
I just gave it another look - LOL

Hmmm...the mud pies I made as a kid weren't nearly that pretty. Your beautiful daughter has quite a talent.
Has she ever thought of making those yummy scented candles that look like baked goods? She would be so good at it!

How clever she is! I'll take it all. It falls into the 4 major food groups. Chocolate cake, chocolate cookies, chocolate candy and chocolate. Sold!!

Now, she needs to make them keep and sell them.

As a theatre teacher/director, I have had to purchase fake food in the past. I'd definitely purchase something from her "bakery" to use in a production!
