When It Rains...

I've been coughing for about 5 days. With the upcoming weekend, I figured I'd better head to the doctor just in case it was something more severe than a cough. And I was diagnosed with bronchitis. So, these will be my friends for the next few days.

And then on the way home an Overdrive light started flashing in my van. As I backed into the driveway I noticed a trail of fluid in front of me. And now there's a puddle beneath my van. Transmission fluid, I think. Verne's out of town until tomorrow. Ughhh...

Thankfully, I made it home safe and sound.

Tracy, I hope you feel better soon. There is nothing worse than dealing with car issues when your husband is out of town!

Bless your heart! I hate having car trouble when JR is out of town ... such a sinking feeling. I'm so glad your van got you home safe and sound before it decided to be sick, too! Praying it's not a major fix.

And I hope you feel better soon. A recent discovery: In my opinion lemonade masks that awful taste of Mucinex better than anything I've tried. Hugs to you!

I'm so sorry you're under the weather. Bronchitis is not a friendly little visitor! (((hug)))

Hope the dinner went smooth and delish with Jon over the other night.

Car trouble is always worse when hubby's away. I know that. Personally. sigh.

Glad you made it home. There are few things that I hate more than car trouble - I always feel so helpless.

Thanks for sharing those recipes in your previous post. I've been looking for some more crockpot meals -- and those picnic buns look heavenly! I will definitely let you know when I try them :o)
